Newbie from Ukraine
Hello to all of you AEU86 guys/girls.
I'm the owner of swapped zenki coupe AE85 (4age bluetop/map - T50 - Exedy clutch - TRD LSD 2way ) RHD -> LHD swap nonPS, dashboard from different rolla. (all these conversions was done by previous owwner, previously it was RHD japanese 3au based like a SR5 in US but i think even weaker) I've come here from Ukraine (where i'm currently located) I've bought my rolla on June 2013, previously just dreamed about such car for a 5 years in a row (not exact but i have no other choice my dream was a car from Initial D anime)))). This is my first car, unfortunately before that time i even have no drivers license and in a moment when i've earned enough money to buy my car i also started to attend drivers course, but car was bought even earlier that i've finished course. It has some rust, and other problems but as far as i've seen for 30yrs old car it's not to much. (production Dec '83) I've bought such car to prevent it's conversion (by somebody) into track car with cage and so on, i;m planning restoration and use it as daily car, but as far as it has holes and consume water as a torpedoed boat I'm trying to use it only when it's clear and no rain)) I even rent a garage to hide it for winter but there were no snow till today and +2°С so i've used my last days to ride... My main goal here is to earn some foreign experience, and knowledge, and to buy some parts because in Ukraine they cost huge amount of money. And even delivery to Ukr worth to buy them here or in US. Here's pics from previous owner, car was in 1k kms far from my city (another side of Ukraine) WARNING: imagehosting can contain some 16+ content (pics) probably, I'm using adblock and not seeing it, you've been warned. During way back home we've (i and my bro) stuck in a mud , but LSD saved us! without it and with no thread on wheels we wont be able to save our butts)) After all buy adventures i've started search process and found few holes: all these looks like: now Ah if it's interest i've spent 5700$ for a car and 1000$ to make it mine by documents (licence plates, engine swap legalization and so on) yep dat's Ukraine khm... so something like that. Nice to meet to all of you. Dima  My car even older than I. Dec. 1983 zenki Levin coupe AE85 swapped to 4age16v from ae92 and other needed stuff and RHD to LHD Nov. 1985 kouki Trueno hatchback AE85, with 86s suspension, @3A + A42DL, RHD |

Welcome!
Looks pretty good so far. The only thing that i dislike is the dashboard, doesn't fit with the boxy look of the ae86. ハチロク |

I've found one man with smashed AE in Ukraine, and if all will be ok, in a near furure i'll buy original dashboard (LHD) and some interior parts. As for me current dashboard is not so bad, previous owner installed it firm ant it's not produsing any noises, rustle, wiggles and so on, so if i'll be lucky to buy original AE85-86 or AE92 GT dash i'll install one of them.

Well at least for half an hour it remained rattle free... 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
