Hey there!
I'm planning on spending the 86 day, 2015 in Japan at Mt. Fuji, together with some friends we want to travel to japan and take advantage of that date to enjoy one of the best days dedicated to the 86's.... Anyone in Japan to help me out with some questions i have right now? Regards |

With some budget control i can manage to get some money to support the trip!

There is a town near Fuji called Gotemba its a 2 hour bus drive from Shunjuku station Tokyo.
Its close, but I guess you will need to look at renting a car to get about. Food in Japan is cheap I was able to get around with about 20 euro's a day on food. Depending on your stay you can manage for around 60 euro. Make sure to do an effort on Japanese they appreciate it. ( i used a loney planet book) Alan and Miguel live in japan and both own (well Miguel did I think he does now again) You could try PM them. But remember they have a life outside the forum and most of them have families too. Sure! The main goal of the trip is to explore of course the major cities if possible, but the main reason is to explore the car culture and try to be present at the 86 day festivities...!
