Budget complete handling package
Hello everyone,
I'm probably ordering the complete handling package from T3. Any thoughts on it? Any reasons I shouldn't buy it? https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/ae86/...86-corolla Thanks in advance!! |

Not a hudge fan of the short stroke shocks in standard housing with the big spacer. I´d personally get the shock body shortenend an the spring perch welded on.

I'm ordering the weld on kit, was already planning that..
I'm using the car for the occasional trackday and sunday drive, not as daily driver. So an 8kg/6kg setup should do the trick... Greetz |

It will be to hars for sunday drive and around town.
Trackday will be just fine. I would suggest you go with something in 4/3kg - 6/4kg region. P.S. i have AE86 with rollcage and 7/5kg springs and i think they are too hard for "spirited" driving. |

I had 7,4/6,2 and used it as daily driver. On smooth roads the car felt like it was on rails. But most roads around here are pretty bad so i spent most of my time bouncing all over the place. Good setup for drifting though, a flick with the steeringwheel and lots of the loud pedal and it would slide like crazy.

You need to consider a lot of factors when choosing spring rates, I know the 8/6 combo seems convinient enough because half of US and Japan uses it but theres more to it then it seems at first glance.

I really dont know what to expect from the setup.. I dont mind a hard ride, if I want comfort I take my daily driver What is most important is a good track setup, and Gabriel T3 recommends it..

I got bc racing coilovers and they are 5/4.5 and its already very bumpy.
So i would not take 8/6 for street use. My car is also a sunday driver. grtz |
