It actually looks more period-correct!
The EE90 bumper should fit better on paper as the width is the same (2cm wider than the e80), but judging from your photos it also fits nicely. Did you have to chop anything on the bumper near the fenders? 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Yea i think the design on the EE90 bumper is too round for the body of TA60 carina. Nothing got chopped on the bumper but the lower mounts on headlights come in the way so i have to cut a little piece out of the bumper to get it sitting a few centimeters higher. Bumper could be wider but im happy for how it sits for now Thinking about cutting rear end so it sits level with bottom of the trunk (kinda race car look) and fitting original bumper there or something similiar (from E30 etc.) Its fun to experiment Next weekend going to have to replace the side exhaust made for "winter season" because its getting a little bit loud (here's a little clip from the first snow testing out new winter tyres, so nothing special here http://tinyurl.com/CarinaWinter ) and my dog doesn't like it much
Edit: New exhaust 2,5 inch pipe straight from the manifold. Sounds just right and not too loud much improvement from the sidepipe and i kinda like how "rude" it looks haha |

Nice sound!
And I didn't really see the rust. The icicle was drawing more attention from me: I was wondering if it was going to fall off. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Went to another trackday at another track, improved best time by 1.9 seconds.
Next time I'll have R888s fitted and quicker again! Couldnt quiiiiitttteeee keep up with the EVO though. I went for a passenger ride in this car later in the day, it makes some really good power. |

Well he was visible for 2 minutes, so you managed quite well IMO. And I did not see anyone else pass.
