LHD AE86 headers and exhaust

Mine is daily driver parked outside all year long so it will probably get rusty in a year or so. Well see how it goes. I can always get it recoated when it gets worse.

I'm using a full HKS exhaust. Super Header Type 1 ending up on a 60mm pipe and then a Hipower409 also on 60mm outer diameter.

That means i'm like using a 55mm inside pipe exhaust?

Still, i'm making a sweet sound and a cool power on a stock 20V Blacktop.

I'm currently running a stock header, mid box removed with a hks hipower backbox. I could just get a header and keep the hks but it's just way too loud.

What if you use a nice header and fit a middle catalitic type muffler? To cut a bit of sound maybe?

Yea maybe but i have to take everything in consideration. Work, cost and what if it's still too loud?
At this point i'm taking the easy route and just fit a new system. My neighbours and ears will thank me.
