PS: to anyone please tie your cars down properly (not like me). I got away because it wasn't far and a very smooth ride. It felt like 40°C so I did it the bad way.

Still a lot of work to do, like fitting the rear side windows and closing off the roof + all off the wiring and interior

So a very small but meaningful update (at least for me). With my new job not giving me much or any time at all to work on the car as well as my birthday and X-Mas coming up soon. I finally got lucky on a less time consuming but nerve-wracking task. I just won the bid for my new license plate (that's the way it works around here).

Every week they put up new numbers and every week I had a quick glance until it luckily appeared after 4 months.

I present the closest to a Alphanumeric plate I can get here (we only have numbers and region letters which can't be changed unless you move)

It's a complete vanity thing but I just had to have it. Now I only need to find the time and money to get the actually road legal again.
