I think the optional 15” wheels were atiwe pepperpots. (Pic related/google find)
I currently have 15x7 momos with 195/55 advans up front and continentals on the rear. Pretty good at soaking up bumps although the sidewalls on a 55 height tire can be a bit soft depending on tire brands. ハチロク |

Jup at least here in Europe it was the Atiwe wheels. 2 sizes were available 14x6 and 15x7. There was also Zona mesh3 in 13x5.5 though I barely seen those in the wild.

Found the wheels I wanted!
Not very original, but i couldn't be happier with it. Watanabe's 14*7 And a period correct steering wheel which should be a little closer by and smaller compared to the stock steering wheel Currently the car is getting some maintanence. All fluids, filters, spark plugs and timingbelt will be replaced. Also the suspension will be changed. Current setup, Koni's with unknown brand spring is to hard to drive. (even the mechanic was surprised) |

So they're not Apex springs after all?

Well they can't find any reference on the spring, but i'll make pictures when they come off.
Maybe somebody on this forum might recognize them |

Just got the car back last weekend!
New suspension is a lot better. Went with advice the garage gave me and got some BC coilovers a lot better then the old set. They were in fact Koni dampers with Apex springs. The wheels are a bit rough but i like the look of them. Do need some hub caps though. Tires are Vredestein Sportracs in 185/55/14. Couldn't resist getting some yellow foglight. Found some brand new Cibies in the classifieds online and had them installed right away. I'll get some proper pictures this weekend after a good clean. |

Looking good, I see you have the plastic trim on the wheel arches. Keep a close eye on those as the tend to trap water with age and can lead to rust.
Unfortunately they can't just be removed as there are holes and indents in the fender to fit them. AE86 ex-daily |
