Toyota Heritage reproducing AE86 parts

I didn't know exactly where to post this, but Toyota Heritage is going to reproduce some parts for the AE86!

Starting with rear callipers and steering knuckles now and half shafts in December.

My socials are over flooding with this update from Toyota, this is very good news obviously.
I wonder how long it will take them to have a decent filled catalog...

If you look at the MA70 Supra category, they are reproducing hard to find trim stuff (that just rots away on a Supra), so there is hope for good stuff!

Same for me, I read it in several places already.
TBH I don't really understand why they started reproducing the rear calipers. AFAIK those aren't impossible to find.
But the good news is that apparently there is a form you can fill in to make requests for certain parts. Maybe good to make a list of parts we think are important/necessary and then submit that?

Correct me if I'm wrong on the headlights part numbers: there were many different LHD models, probably due to local legislation being different. France, for instance, had yellow headlights and thus different reflectors and thus a different part number.

Talking with Ivan a few weeks ago about hard to find parts, i'd say the Levin sidelights are a good candidate?

Flos is already selling reproductions of those.
Possibly also kouki RHD headlights.

There are more discontinued parts than I can remember that I have asked toyota about in the last few years.

Toyota will never ever make these, but it would be nice if we could get the panel that goes on the back of the front seats. That piece is always torn on the top corner on the driver's side. I don't think I've ever seen on intact.

I have intact ones on the Celica Supra seats, it's that spongy crap they make them out of that doesn't survive for long.
I suppose they could be made out of carbon/fibreglass relatively easily, but I hate working with that stuff so I'm not inclined to try.

I believe the AE86PreservationSociety guy might have attempted to recreate interior parts like this, haven't seen any results yet though.
