EUDM cluster revelations

I was looking for a EUDM gauge cluster for a long time already. I finally found a cheap AE86 gauge cluster for sale to conduct some tests upon.
It was a quite lucky find as it was advertised as a Celica TA60 cluster alongside some other Celica parts. This was weird as the Celica A60 has a less wide and taller cluster. Also the Celica never got an oil pressure gauge and the tachometer should have a redline at 6000rpm for the 2T engine. I double checked the part number on the photos and indeed it turned out to be an AE86 cluster. I'm still baffled how a it could have been mistaken for a Celica cluster...

However, I found something interesting that I never noticed before:


Only the EUDM gauge clusters feature the "econ" and "pwr" indicators within the tachometer. I double checked with my sources for the USDM, AUDM and other gauge clusters and really only the EUDM (both zenki and kouki) got these. Over the past 20 years I've never noticed this difference before! I didn't even miss the two bulbs on my Trueno!
