I've made a diary page to track what i have been doing to the car.

One strange thing was that I was clearing out my email when I spotted one from a guy back in 2001 telling me about his car. For some reason I re-read it. The car was red over black with a Richard Macer rebuilt engine, sounded familiar. A couple of emails later and I found that I now had that car.

Got some pictures of its early history from him, but shows how small the hachi world can be.

Finally got round to putting some tyres on my latest rims. I now have SSR Formula Mesh 6.5 front and 7 rears on the car. Not entirely sure of the offsets, and the rears are pretty close to touching the arch, will have to see how that goes.

As a result, if anyone wants a set of Drag 902's in first class condition mine are now available

It's been sat in the sheds you see there for the last 4 months, will be back on the road very soon, but yes, i'd say it was pretty dusty and the red paint has faded just like red does in that time.

I've managed to put the old bumper on at present, all the lights are in, not very pleased with the fit of the bonnet, need to see if the problem is the bonnet or the shell. The batteries charging, road tax to buy, renew my insurance and i'll be running again.

I gave it a bit of a clean up, still need to do a better job but took a couple of pictures anyway.

I need to get it running properly though, at present its ok at idle but as soon as you accelerate it feels like its badly timed or running on 3 cylinders, need to go back and re-recheck the timing and all the sensor plugs and connectors. So if anyone has any pearls of wisdom....
