I'm looking for a good classic set of 14"/15" rims with proper offset for AE86.
This is what i found in Europe. Volk and SSR sure do look nice, but they are too expencive and avaibilitiy is under question. You can get 4 konig rimms for about 600 euros in Denmark. Depending on what shipping is that could be good. I have no idea what shipping would cost from the US.

Trust me ZaX, for the money you can't beat the Konig rims. If al the stories are true then they should be pretty light too(14lbs). I'm cursing Konig for not making these in a 4x100 pattern!
The compomotives are nice too, but too expensive for ordinary minilites imho. Take a look at http://www.minilite.de for other examples of european minilites. Regarding the 15" wheels: most of the examples you showed are incredibly heavy...20+ lbs. Best not to spend much money on bricks. My personal favourites are these: http://www.htnherbst.de/html/body_htn_herbst.html Custom made German quality wheels. Light weight too. They are pricey though..probably rarer then most of the Japanese wheels A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Oh, another nice rim from our German friends:

With Compomotive wheels the offset is all behind the spokes they will fill your arches out real nice but you will loose the big lip we all know and love from the Jap wheels.

Lennert (robokill) has ordered these. I think he said shipping was 100+ dollars, damn cheap if you ask me, but dont go celebrating until he confirms it.
