Hmmm, I thought you could install them on any kouki grille.

You can install them on any kouki grille, but as you see you need to do some cutting. I bought my kouki grille brandnew with the holes already there (there is a sticker covering them up now). Dont know how much of these were around in japan, but they were never sold in europe afaik.
They were probably either optional or for Apex models.

As far as I know they are quite rare, or anyway they are quite expensive for me!
