2 nohachi: good point. I on purpose didn't slam the rear end of the car too much because i still don't have tracktion brackets and adjustable panhard rod. I also read that it's easier to drift without tracktion brackets.

Since my last driftday i was working on my car, preparing it for winter:
- changed the gearbox, previous didn't want to downshif from 5. -> 4. and 4 -> 3. - replaced the oil in LSD (was in for cca 1000km), i found small spring on magnetic drain plug - removed adjustable coilovers, RCA's, camber plates, wheel spacers - instaled AE86 Koni's with h&r springs - replaced rear springs with softer ones, adjusted koni's for less stiffnes - fixed the mufler because it went woobly from excesive off-road trips on drift day - replaced the rear lights with tinted ones, i broke rear right in contact with fence on driftday - drained the coolant, cleaned the engine wiht some kind of acid, drained it 3 times, pour in fresh anti-freez coolant - i think i fixed the leakage of water to the passanger foot area. Went for a ride, car is very comfortable after 3 months on 8kg/6kg springs. But, it won't drift that easy, lot of grip now. Next month i'm buying some 13" winter tires. I should make some mud flaps, too! Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

I'm thinking of puting some over-fender flares on my ae86, like CBY car has.
Here are some "demo" pictures. I would also need some wider wheels. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Since i live in croatia, i have friend in US who buys everything for me and then send stuff to me. I buy most stuff online. Ivica aka pero buys stuff directly from Japan, so he kindly offers me if i need something from time to time. Current bill for my AE86 is above 5500€, including the 2200€ i paid for the car. I own my ae86 for about 1 year, so i spent around 500€ every month on my car. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |
