GT4 challenge?

LOL......Lads u wud want to come up with quicker times than this! when GT4 came out there was a comp for the fastest time around the nordschleiffe in a Stock Nissan 350Z Ltd Edition and the quickest time i cud do is a 7:14!!! in a stock 350z! i played the game for 8 weeks solid and only with 1 car and still didnt qualify cos i didnt realise they wudnt watch ur reply but just judge ur time.....hence the reason why i didnt jump kerbs etc!!

p.s: i dont play GT4 anymore but only GT3 with either my beloved AE86 Shigeno with about 8000kms!!!
a s13 180sx or my crazy Supra with 1059bhp!! i have loads of saved replays that will really impress u all!

Well Ian, 7:30 in the Z is still 1:28.001 than my best time so far. We did say you could pick any car and mod it as in the arcade mode. So, I'll just wait until somebody posts a sub 6:00 time in this thread. It's just a friendly challenge between members after all!

As for the kerbs, I don't see where jumping kerbs would improve my time. Unfortunately, I don't have the replay, but I do have the ghost lap saved. Will that work?

PS. Please let us see your GT3 vids. Any good selection will do (but please include some AE86 :wink: )

AE86 ones rae the best in mt opinion but i can pull off some serious links in the s 13 and especially the supra!! :wink:

Ian: indeed a screenshot prooving 7:14 w/ a stock z33 on nür would be lovely. that is a very fast time i think. ill try it later, to see what i can get w the Z. btw, what tires have u used?

okay i tried thr z33 ltd stock w soft-sport tires. if you can do 7:14 or even sub 7:30 w/ this i pronounce you god of racing skill. there is no way i could keep up w/ the ghost of R1 (7:34).

believe me when i say it is actually unreal the pace u need to go at....i a bit of a GT legend in my parts and its a crazy lap time! the comp was to win a 350Z ltd ed but i mis red the rules and didnt qualify due to keeping to the track instead of jumping kerbs! oh yeah thats by keeping it on the tarmac!!

it really is very very VERY FAST! No mistakes at all.....WORD!!

Arcade mode if i can remember on free run. turn the bhp up by the adjustable thingy to 349bhp i think?? and lower the weight by whatever ya can and hit the track?

this was the thread i started months ago with other members to keep on touch of things...lap times are submitted and u will see they drop dramatically from teh start to the end!!

I read somewhere that the winning time for the 350Z was something like a 7:02 Thats just plain freakish!

well the irish dude won the 350z in the irish shootout and then lost the euro final to the french dude...donmt know what he got for that or the world final..

Not stock i guess but either way i still think u should give it a bash!!

even witha fully modified one in GT mode u will find it hard to beat! WORD!
