Why does Kris sell his hachi?
Well.

it´s a long story. . .

Amongst other things.....

I have NOT gotten the positive feedback I so well deserve for beeing the one
person that introduced Drifting in Sweden.

If I had not taken up drifting some almost 3 years ago - there would be
no drifting in Sweden right now.

Swedish motorsportfederation do not mention me at all & that pisses me
off very much - I mean - even in the US they know of me & how much i
have done to get Drifting an STATUS in Sweden.

Also their contactperson who attends the swedish drift-forum (that I also
helped startup) - does nog recognize me for what i have done.
they, take all the credit themselves - although -
it was ME they contacted first of all for driftingrelated information.

Then...
there´s been way to much BS-talk on nearly all swedish forums -

that i cannot drive,
i have to low HP
, to ugly car
, to old car
, i´m fucked up
, i´m crazy for using an 20 yr old car with 120 bhp
, etc
etc
etc

Yes - i take pride in what i have accomplished during the 16 yrs i have
competed in motorsports - I have never won anything big - except beeing Danish
Supermoto champion 1995 & several good placings @ roadracing 250cc stock bikes.

But this also matters to me as a person - In general anyone would be
pissed about the drifting part - but most people just dont care enough unfortunatley.

I´m totally fed up with this & therefor i´m selling my car to the highest
bidder.

I have though,a new project that will take everybody´s breath away
seriously -
But i cannot tell you about it here - only via PM oki - & everyone i´m
asking to keep it SECRET.

What i can mention is this:

[b]- 1000kgs
aluminium
4WD converted to RWD
turbo
600 bhp mimimun
pure race/drift spec´d
10-point rollcage
carbonfibre
carbonfibre...

regards /
..............Kristian

Hey Kris, I'm new here so I don't know of the regulars, but those are some very good reason's to be frustrated (I know I'd be a bit upset). Anyways, can't wait to see your new project. It sounds like it's going to be a beast Hurray!

You know I havent send you pm, though I ve allready found out your new project...
Its nice to see more Japan beasts prepared for drifting, now that the new generation model is coming up at 2007

Did I guessed right? Tongue

By the way:
I read Bullshit written from YOU in this topic.
Sorry if I m being rude here,
BUT WHY THE HELL SHOULD YOU CARE ABOUT what these motherfuckers overthere say, or do. Screw them...

What are you going to prove if you sell the AE? (and I dont give a shit if you finally do)...

To me you 're gonna just prove them that they are right.

Screw them, why care for what others say...

Others say drifting is for freaks, are we gonna quit drifting?

p.s1: I think you have achieved enough, I champion in nothing
p.s2: You have achieved a guy here in Greece to talk to you at 1.13 in the morning
p.s3: Sorry for the words I use, I hope you understand

Sincerelly,
Achilleas

Kris, i'm sorry to hear that it's been tough gaining the respect you deserve and am also sorry to see you leave a fantastic car behind. Anyone who thinks you're crazy for driving an 80's classic sideways in my opinion is complimenting you and are probably jealous of how well you pull it off. I can see that your decision has been made but take note that you will be missed from the AE86 circle.

It sucks that you have not gotten recognition for what you have achieved Kris...but like the others say dont stop drifting your '86

If you enjoy doing something so much - especially something that you are obviously good at I wouldn't let the words of others influence you too much.

I personally dont give a $#!+ if your car has low power - in fact- the lower the power the more respect you deserve as its all about skill instead of just banging the gas pedal to the floor to light the wheels up.

Age of a car is irrelevant to me - a drift competiton is about driver skill and making what you have work to your advantage. so what if you dont have the latest MY2005 RWD super bling shiney machine with 800bhp - but does it matter ?

now fuel up and go for a slide - you'll feel better.

Regards Ian.

yes kris you have right, but hachi its worth to be pissed on from another peoples, i like this feeling its called understatement?

you can ad more bars to your rolcage, buy solid parts for rear and make an 600hp carbon monster from your car and nobody will never laugh you, when you beat an bnr32 or evo on racetrack Evil

ok ok too many projects and too litle time and money for it Thumbs up!
