Yes, but as you may know, we 86ers are kinda old-fashion style type of racers

I have to agree with Yonzie here!
I'm no fan of styling hoods either, but that hood is nice! |

nmwisima Wrote:Yes, but as you may know, we 86ers are kinda old-fashion style type of racers  Jap! As you probably noticed we like it pretty much stock, w/ a pinch of some wicked oldskool - retro design. So FnF stuff would not be to ae86 community's liking. Replicate some of the JDM aftermarket parts (cby, run free etc) those are pretty popular. But IMHO the best style for a daily driven/sometmes track used ae86 would be somewhere between stock and CBY. CBY is cool and all, but a bit too much for a mildly tuned car. You need som crazy wheels along those arches, and along that some serious power. Perhaps making some milder arches and a replica of oem sideskirts and frontlips, perhaps a replica of trd wing; might be a good way to go. Anyways, welcome to the site, feel like at home; looking forward to seeing some of your stuff. Greetz. |

That bonnet is nice. So if I came to you with my own bonnet design could you make a fiberglass one? If so, what is a rough estimate. (very rough, i understand you cant really give me too much of a idea without giving you the design. It wouldn't be too exotic)

I actually like the bonnet. Not too big and open and atleast it looks like functioning was a bigger factor than looks while designing.
Anyway, welcome! I've added you to the Commercial Sales group. You can sell your kits there. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Regarding the bonnet, i think most people would enjoy a cheaper alternative to the j-blood type. Your´s is looking a lot like that.
I love the fact that we actually get dealers/fabricators on to this forum as well as the everyday person. Nice mix. Welcome... Check out this j-blood levin hood.
