Darren McNamara uses a Nissan Vanette rear axle which has an 8inch crownwheel as far as I know.The diff is simply welded as its a pure drift machine !

The toyota light ace axle is supposed to be fairly good with 7.5 inch crownwheel, I will more than likely use one of these welded up this year as my stock rear end started to sound a bit sore at the end of last years drift season !!!

Always thought that the liteace axle was of the same series as the celica supra one...

Once you start modifying brackets etc etc..you might as well pick an axle that sturdy and has cheap replacement parts..In the US that would be a ford axle..dunno what out european equivalent is..

Just go for toyota 7.5" rearends...those bigger ones are all used in pickup trucks, and are widely available in the US for a lot less than the 6.7" ring and pinions for the ae86 cost.

Liteace has two types of diff?? 6,7" and bigger?? I m looking for diff with lsd not wleded lsd

The 6.7 is the ordinary AE86 ring/pinion setup..You want an F-series axle with the 7.5" ring and pinion..These are regularly used with off-road vehicles, so you can get lots and lots of cheap LSD's/lockers from that crowd.
