Trackday Zandvoort this weekend. (sat 11th feb).

Senna took his RX7 out for its first spin around the track. Still in the middle of being tuned its waiting a fuel cut defender before we can really let her rip. Power starts around 5500 rpm and wont end for a long while. Shame we had to keep her under 7000 rpm or we run the risk of fuel cut and blowing up the engine.

I had a chance to drive the rx7 aswell (not on the track though) and it sure made me miss mine. Wonderfull cars, very very different from a hachi, a whole different sort of fun

Probably I talked to him and his friends for a while at the end of the day but I'm terrible in remembering names from people I just met

I'm sure he'll forgive me, it sure was fun meeting them.

I actually met up with a number of people who seem to know me from the forum but I have hardly got a clue who they are. I'm just terrible with names and faces

jup that was me... Was my first time on the track. Very nice experience... Only i wouldn't mind if it was less crowdy during the session.
But nonetheless... I had fun.

Chell, drifting was normal practice day in the morning, this was a track day with normal grip driving. Laptimes counted (well for those who cared)

Calavera, you should come along with us next time to lelystad. Really nice environment for practicing.
