I noticed my second (brake)light on the left side isn't working anymore. Got to see tonight what it is: probably a broken bulb. Tongue
Oh, and Oldskull's hachi is now aeu86 branded with a sticker on the side window. Wink

Hey Speedline,

Don't go breaking the rules now, this belongs in commercial sectionSmile I'll post it there.

Anyways I am super happy with the exhaust. Driving to work today it was such a nice change. The sound really is very very very nice!

Only downside I've noticed so far is that my exhaust no longer 'hides' all the other little sounds in my car that reveal its ageSmile For the first time the wind noice actually bothered me on the freeway, damn these cars are noicy!Smile

Fotos to follow soon.

Earlier this week my car started making weird noices while braking. It sounded like metal to metal noices so I gathered that I must have warn my pads down. Kinda weird since I replaced them less then a year ago.

Since back then I didn't change my rotors and they were starting to show signs of serious groves I desided to take it safe and order a complete set of rotors and pads.

Today they arived and since the sound really started to get bad I desided to make sure I would atleast replace the pads that caused the problems.

Now you may remember that last year I teared the dust cover on one of my rear calipers. I have still to rebuild it but never really gave it much thought, just thought that it may just result in the piston getting a bit rusty.

Well, not a good conclusion. Taking the rear appart I found out quickly that on the left, nothing was the matter, the pads hardly have any wear on them yet.

On the right side.. Uhm... BURNED metal and heavy scared rotors.. Also the piston was very difficult to turn back in. My guess is that when I pressed the brake the piston never moved back in and the pads wear very quickly.

So I replaced everything on the left, and I put a new rotor on the right and put my pads from the left on there. Next week I should be getting rebuild calipers on at both sides, then I will use the new pads for the right aswell.

I'll probably be changing the front aswell this weekend even though my pads are probably still in good condition, but the rotors are slightly groved so replacing it all seems like a better idea.

Anyways, pictures coming soonSmile
