New ae85 project in New Zealand
It is very clean, the only other thing wrong with the interior is that the mechanism behind the passenger doorhandle is broken so it doesnt lock. I think its burning oil though....

I have changed my mind, this car is going to cost me alot of money.

When i bought the car it wasnt blowing the lovely blue burning oil smoke that it does now because there was no oil in the car for it to burn, it didnt even reach the bottom of the dipstick! I was lucky it didnt seize! 3 weeks ago i filled it up and its already burnt half of it. I also got quoted over $3000 for the body work that needs doing, without paint, there is nothing major on it but there is soooo many small dings and bad rust repairs... This car is a financial nightmare! Think about facing these costs at age 16...

Sell it on and save up for a better one, or get something that wont drain your finances. You could try doing things by yourself. Depending on what kind of equipment you have around, and working space, time & motivation you cuold come a long way to fix it up to something decent. Finding and replacing an engine is really one of the easier tasks with an ae86.. it's the rest that's so damn expensive and difficult to get fixed. Judging from your pictures your bodywork is not so bad as you may think. Those repaired sections can be ground flat, treated with some rust eater and what have you not, then smoothed out and painted... it may not last you forever but not many rust repairs will. Your rear arches arent even rusted away like most in northern europe, that little cut could easily be welded..etc etc.. Little dents you can practice some panel beating skills on, there's always filler to take care of the rest. There ARE other options than paying garage's to do everything for you.
