I've finally bought a decent camera: so now I can take normal pictures Hurray!

I also found another place where the boot is leaking. So need to fix that as well... Sad

BTW banpei, you mentioned somethin about a cutout from a wrecked hachi that was going to be used to fix that right rear panel of yours. Was that thing cut from the car in amsterdam? I need a piece of that panel (the bit behind the right rear light cluster), and need to know if it's still on the car before I go and try to get it.

I couldn't use that part since the fenders are a bit too rusted away. Sad
So I probably will go for either custom job or remade Startlet (P7 I thought) fenders.

Anyway, about your question: as far as I can remember the boot of the car was in okay condition compared to the rest of the car and still had the rubber on it. But I'm not too sure about that. I don't think I'll go back to that wecker for a while so maybe Robokill can check it out if he has the time. Confused

Today Mux and I fixed some things on our cars. Mux replaced his stock breaklines with steel-breaklines. Smile
I replaced the slave cylinder of my clutch (was leaking), removed the heat-harness around the exaust (rattling) and did some small stuff.

Fortunetly I did bring along my camera, however it is not the camera I like to bring along when fixing cars. Wink
Oh, and the white-balance is off since I forgot to remove the custom white-balance when I took pictures of the electric-wiring diagram book. Confused

Not only have I switched the server today, I also bought two new shoes for my hachi. Cool

Bought them at http://www.autobandenmarkt.nl/ , just like Ivan did, and to no surprise I bought Falken ZE-512 (195/55 R15, so different size than Ivan) and had them mounted under the hachi. Smile

The tires are a bit softer and comfortable than my previous ones, but those were 195/50 and these are 195/55. I'm really happy about the comfort of the car, but I do have to adjust the shocks to make the car a bit stiffer again.

The garage owner was quite pleased to see the car: he owned (according to his stories abused) an ae86 in the past and now owns a Supra MKIII and an Eldorado Fleetwood.

They had a bit of trouble balancing the wheel since there was a dent in it (TE71Corolla made it when he owned the car), but when I made pictures today I couldn't believe my eyes how many weights they put on it. Big Grin Big Grin
But it surely helped. Car runs much smoother at 120km/h. Smile

The tires are a bit bigger, but the do tend to disappear a bit behind the fender. So time to find some longer springs or spacers. Undecided

Also made some pictures afterwards at a nice spot. Smile
