This year ZaX takes the cake, wining over last years champion with the e30 325i. Of course ZaX didnt have the balls to come w/ his AE, insted he came w/ the heavy artilery - s13. Never the less, his drifting was imo considerably better than anyone elses, so the win is well deserved. Congrats Zax!
There were two hachis tho, HRC who placed 6th and KAS who didnt make it to the finals, but showed a bit of what ae could do. Congrats to both . Here are the resoults: RWD/AWD: 1. Josip Žagar (Nissan 200SX S13) 133 points 2. Peter Cimerman (BMW 325i) 130 3. Gašper Tršan (BMW 323i Touring) 116 4. Peter Žvan (Alfa 75) 101 5. Primož Marn (BMW 325i Touring) 98 6. Hrvoje Vešligaj (Toyota Corolla AE86) 86 FWD: 1. Alan Bošnjak (Alfa 33) 31 2. Anže Koren (Yugo 65) 30 3. Peter Čater (Honda Civic) 28 And some pics: This guy was hillarious - 50 hp, running on wires not tyres hahaaha he drifted all around with ease (30 kmh ahahha) http://www.moj-album.com/slike/329727/1l...3R3Y6o.jpg More pics @: http://www.email.si/apps/es_gallery/a.php?id=10371 http://www.had.si/avtomagazindrift/ LP! |

I think that here, in Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary are best european drifters. Except UK becouse of RHD.

Kas Wrote:I think that here, in Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary are best european drifters. Others arent bad...but they need good suspension...neznam kak da napišem na engleskom...trebaju bolje podvozje jer većina naših driftera dok drifta se previše naginje u zavoju i estetski ubija drift...drift je umjetnost i treba fino kliziti kroz zavoj al kad financije i naše ceste ne omogućavaju neke tvrđe amortizere |

Kas i wanted to come and greet you but i only had the chance to see the main run, then my transportation wated to go home immediately (came w/ my friends, given that my transportation still awaits better days)..
And next year perhaps even i will come (if i can set up te car properly in that time) and learn to drift properly ofcourse And its true what igor says, many of our drifters have the talent but just need better cars.. many are just running bone stock 325's e30 or e36 bimmers with sqishy suspension, so the drifts look very "untidy". Thats why ZaX well deserved the victory, his drifting was perfect in the "artistic" meaning. Although it was obvious the speeds were to low for his car to shine in its full glory; we'd need some 100 km/h+ bends to really heat it up. |
