take the car to a dyno after the fine-tuning is done. I am extremely curious about how much the engine is producing, and even more important, gimme a passenger ride so i can feel that power myself ;-)

Time for a story,

The car broke down and i spent alot in it but its on the road and better than ever. The engine runs strong and feels great.

I still have to be careful according the builder so i don't go to track days yet.

There is one downpoint. I begin to seek more challange. THe car controls fine but it doesn't scare me anymore. I don't as much kick out of it as i used to.

So i have decided to keep tuning until i do. Bad thing is its gonne cost me loads of money! :-(

I am very happy how the car is running altough idle is far from perfect atm.

I will return to the tuner in a short while. After i set up a good 5000km we do another clean on the oil. I also wanne see how the ingintion is set.

I will change the exhaust and then go to a performance bench.

Never will the hachi leave me again for such a long time!

i read in page 5 you wanted to install a megasquirt, did you install one after all or did i overlook some text maybe?

Lets pull this project out of the dust!

Car went after 6000km for its oil refresh! Engine is still performing very well. After that I went for MOT and failed on the following points:

Exhaust (leaking)
Left brake line on the rearaxle (the steel one)
Tire profile front right tire

So I went for a new exhaust. Same guy who did Docs exhaust. And I made the following setup:

Header. 2-1 piece cut! Then made one pipe on the gather point of the 2 pipes. Pipe width 54 mm. Complete steel custom end tip. Pipe goes under diff. the pipe is 2mm thick steel which should last another 10 years :-)

I'll be making another exhaust in the near future which will be complete bolt on replace. (didn't have the time this time) Pics follow!

Yup but megasquirt will be next year. The mods I had in mind weren't calculated on a new engine
