sup my name is mike, i form in Angola Indiana. i am getting my first AE86 coming in about a week. not the hatch though. traded my conquest tsi for the ae86 and 300 bucks. i didn't get the car becuase of the whole dirft thing.my frist love was this car. i saw one at a shop in toledo when i live there, pure tuning. it was a coupe as well, just white with the nice kit(black) you always see. vented hood and the nice JDm wheels. i wanted it so bad. since then i have been trying to find that car. the the whole dirft thing came out and i saw the car again. and that is how i found out what it was. touching little story huh. i have had hondas so far until my coonquest, which is gone after a month for the ae86. the car needs a little tlc, battary,windsheild,carb rebiuld, handbrake cable. and a doller soze rust spot that is it. i hope i am getting a good deal.

btw way i have a site. please don't get all mad like the other forum i am on. and take it down, poeple go to more then one forum.

It seems to me you really like the Hatch just like me. When I start living in the states I am going to find me one. I just want the hatch, not the coupe for reasons stated in my topic here.

What I am trying to figure out is why you settle for “second best” in the looks department. If it doesn’t look right I personally won’t buy the car. That is the sole reason why I didn’t buy an ae86 here in the Netherlands. I couldn’t get a hatch without going trough a tedious import process. Now that I am immigrating to the US (TX) I can start my search when I get there.

don't get me wrong the conquest is a nice car. rwd,4cl, iron block that can hold 400hp, o and it is turbo, stock lsd.

i don't mind the coupe's in fact if there are done right, the lok fucking sweet. i just found the car i frist feel in love with. and it was a coupe. here are some pics, and some pics of my quest.

I must say I do like that conquest alot aswell, then again, I've always loved the way the starion looks.. Is it actually the same car or did they just copy the looks, they really look identical?
