Nohachi,

Thats why I say he has to do it, and he's already looking into doing it. You're not reading my post good enoughBig Grin

But he does need to first start with removing the rust he has, doing the rust proofing over the existing rust is no good.

Remove the rust

then rustproof

before the salt is put on the roads...

same for my carSad really starting to wonder if I shouldn't get a winter car..

For your infomation, I will not drive my car during the winter "salt" way/street Tongue The car will be home under the roof in this period Smile . So I will makesure my MOT this year will be somewhere in November Smile And start next year the car will get rust proof and new paint I hope.

I just move my car insurance to classic insurance so I save about 500euro a year with new insurance. Yippie! Hurray! Time to saving now

No Mux, I dont wanna get another car. Anyway I dont drive to my work, I go to work with bicycle everyday. So most of the time I use my car for hobby and when I go out with my own. As u see next to my car we have Peugoet 207 Smile I can drive when I need so I dont worry much about that... Smile

I paid fortune for rewinds because I used fast shipping. The rims only for USD $350 and I paid 100 euro taxes for 4 wheels. You can use cheap shipping and its take about 4 weeks if you lucky, I have heard few of guys in europe has to wait for 4 months. I bought them from T3 (Techno Toy Tuning).

Oldskull,

Just so you can get an idea,

Two website where you can order quality paints online by giving your color code, this one has high quality 1K paint and sell a high quality 2K clear coat (expensive):

http://autolak.deautolaksite.nl/autolak.htm

This one is cheaper but sells both 1K and 2K paints:

http://www.verfdump.nl/autolakken.htm

Both also fill aerosoll cans. I had the verfdump one mix up the color for my car as a temporary fix for my car (I will do a respray of my car in a year or two, but for the time being I desided to spraypaint just my front fenders cause they were UGLY). The color does look like it matches up good but I won't know for sure until I spray the clearcoat on, I haven't had time for that yet (it was 12:30 at night when I finished painting the front fenders).

Last but not least, this one I bought the paint for my RX7, they don't do aerosoll cans and they do a minimum of 1 liter paint BUT they do sell expensive high quality 2K paints, 2K primers and 2K topcoats and ALL the tools you can imagine you would ever need for spray painting:

http://www.nicolaasbv.nl/index.html

You could get your color mixed up in an aerosoll can which is just easy, but its not the best solution. Nice for patch work or as a temporary fix like I'm doing now, but it's always better to use proper paint and spray it.

Today I made few holes on my back fenders and under the car to fix the sideskirts. This is just a temporary. I hope I like them Confused

What do you think about them under my car?
