Just really need to start being carefull cause I've been buying way to much lately and I'm still a bit fearfull my latest problem may actually cost me my MOT tomorow. I'm getting more and more convinced I ruined my RNP this weekend, not my clutch...

Hehe... Yeah, like we concluded yesterday: the rims looked nice on my car due to the lip, but not the center. And they look nice on your car due to the center which is a lot bigger surface than the lip. Wink

Well, it felt like the lsd was locking up at the moment you drove off or jolted the accelerator. Hope it is still fixable. Confused

Zax suggested it's the bearing that holds the drive axle in place, the same one adoms was having problems with and that when driving the way the axle is having to much play.. so will check that out aswell.

VERY VERY GOOD NEWS!!

Went to Toyota dealer today. Walked in :
Service desk guy: Hello
Me: Uhm, got some other tires on my car, new on the rear, not sure about the fronts, maybe you guys can check if they are good enough for the MOT?
SDG : Uhm, either do MOT or not sir, if you fail you're fucked
Me: Awell, do MOT then
MOT guy : walks to the car (same guy as before), ah nice rimms, so rear tires are new? I'll just check the fronts.. Hmm the side walls are pretty abused huh?
Me: yeah guy who owned them did some bad bad things with them
MOT guy : Awell no problem, I got this card here you see, and aslong as the tires are good up to a certain point from the center line your safe and see, at that point you have over 4mm, so you've passed
Me: Cool!

So I passed MOT now thanks to Banpei's rimms!!

I've also pretty much desided to get Banpei's rimms. I'm going to put my new tires on them when they are in because I want to have 4 matching tires. Also took some pictures by daylight Big Grin

Nwmisima told me that a long time ago. However they can be stolen easier without center caps and since I live in a friendly neigbourhood it didn't seem to be a reasonable option Wink

Well, the nuts are a bit differen than normal nuts: they are round on the inside, so wonder if there are lock lug nuts available for them. Confused
