The drifter has gone...

I started it 4 weeks ago and hopefully I can race with it in this winter already...

...reinforcements...larger wheelcase...rustrepairs...

Accralite -pistons
Arrow -conrods with ARP -bolts
TRD -head gasket
ARP -mainbolt
ARP -flywheelbolt
steel flywheel
Alcon -clutchcover
Tilton 184mm -sintered clutch
IK22 -sparkplugs

IT´s looking really good,
You have been busy on th erust repair,

How big wheels are you going to run,since you make the front wheelhouse like that,or is it so you can run lower caster?

I did not know that arrow made rods for the 4age, is it for the 40mm or is it 42mm?

I do it 3-4 hours in the evenings, and weekends from morning to night (not exatly, but almoust)

The tire size is a bit question, but 14" or 15" racingtires with 11mm studs( http://www.biltek.se/images/7nabbtyp1.jpg , swedishmade) and old tires had make scrathes to there.

Those conrods could be a special order, I bougt those and pistons at the same time from finnish racingstore. They are 42mm.

The prices I've seen in the US are around 800-1000$ for a complete set.

Arrow conrods: http://www.arrowprecision.co.uk/details.php?id=66164 cost £816 = 1217€
I didn´t find any price to Accralite pistons, but Wisecos cost here in Finland about 780€ and Accralite´s are better than Wisecos (so I heard).

A guy who made my engine recommended those to me,now I have Wisecos and original conrods now, but he said that original conrods don´t sustain over 195hp.
