Shit! You bastard, make fun of my like that . I can not believe it. Yeah, now your location makes sence. I definitely accept it from you!
Bad news regarding suspension as I told you. That guy told me, tha KW will adjust everything based on stock suspension to make it work perfectly, but prices goes from 1800 to 2800 euro. It will be really the best to buy the set from GG. I don`t see any other choice for the moment. |

Sakiguchi,
ByTheWay: My repair guys told me, that right front fender will be necessary, both rear fender beads. Work will cost 7000 CZK (250 E) and paint 8000 (300 E). I was wondering to do it firstly without new paint, because I would like to repaint it later a bit differently. Damn! I will have to keep the car at home till next spring, if everything will go this way. Plus they of course mentioned, that they can not find anywhere original ones. Can I really tell them, that instead of rear fender beads, they should take Golf I? Are you absolutely positive about it? When I see the prices of wheels I am as well more and more positive about Konig Rewind (complete brozne, btw). Since they are 7" wide, will they fit in? Guys, if you have any comment, I will appreciate it. |

I got rewinds under my car. They ar 14x7j and my car lowered about 2 cm if I am not wrong. I got 185/60 size tyres, they fit very well but front got some rubbing issue at the screws where fit the plastics cover under the fenders. I just remove one screw, and I got almost no rubbing issue anymore. So rewinds would be good choice in my opinion

Golf 1 arches are too wide (maybe 50mm widening per side), Golf 2 are more conservative (I would recommend them, Supra MA61 rims 14"/7J fit with ~30mm body widening per side due to use of Golf 2 arches).

I wouldn't get the Rewinds, but wait for the new Rota RB 15x8 (much nicer!) or be different and get the Work replica wheels that Drag makes.

Onyx, if you want rear arches that are like standard AE86 arches, then get starlet arches.
The car they are from is a Starlet P70/71, the arches are made by KLOKKERHOLM, and they list them as Starlet 85-88. Many people put them on, they fit the AE86 nicely. Here is mine. Hey everyone,
thanks for your valuable advices. I just let them know to try to find Starlet P70 arches (85- according Daytona and Sekiguchi. Once Daytona made it, he should know the best. Regarding wheels I don`t prefer CelicaSupra wheels, I like really that oldschool shape of eightspoke dark wheels. When I look at Rota RB, I found only 13 inch and I want 15 inch wheels. To: NoHachi If you have link for 15x8 in dark colour, please send put it here. Those second ones as well can not find. To: Oldskull Can you please show me pics of your car with Rewinds? Only used Compomotive wheels with good price could beat them. |
