Adam's white, rusty levin...updated 23-09-2018!!

Have hachi's ever been sold with those wheels with plastic caps? Or did somebody just swap your wheels with those of a front wheel drive E8?

I have the same plastic cap wheels and they're sort of ugly but they fit the "plastic '80s" style of the car... I have an old advert (in dutch) lying arround here in which toyota proudly states that the good aerodynamics (low Cw) are amongst other things caused by those plastic caps :-)

I too wouldn't want to have them on a Hachi though...

well, i dunno where did they come from, but i defo not like em!

but the rims are original ones, cause i have an original 5th wheel sat in the spare wheel compartment in my car, and, as i can see, and as my friend said, it also has an original GoodYear or Michelin tyre which came from the factory!!!!

haven's been under the car for a while, but that all seems to be ok'ish...

the only thing that worries me now is the boot, and the place between rear shocks...damn it's looking BAAAAD there!!

will make some pics from there tomorrow!

Ohoh, the rust does look for a bigger one work

Still looks quite ok..I would sand those area's down asap and apply some new rust-converter and primer.

Yep, get it before it grows worse... in the rear you can already see the seams are starting to rust, that will be more difficult to stop. The rest looks superficial to me, so it's best to do something about it.

well, i'm thinking of doing that work soon, cause that makes me worry really!

all the little rusty places will be dismissed soon...just need to contact one friend of mine, who has a warm garage, to work in!

the other good thing is that i will have another car soon, our volvo, my sis is movin away so there won't be anyone else who will drive it, and i think it's time to put my corolla off the road for some time...

as i said, i went to my friends garage to try to disassemble the diff and LSD...see the pics and siut yourself!

so i disassembled it all to find:




this bastard is in pieces!!!




but the LSD plates seems good too...


so we shall see what's going on next!
