Is my setup correct?
Jamiemirror, I need a turbo manifold in order to do this so I was just seeing if a DSM one will remotely work, because then I wouldnt have to get a custom one made, or do you guys have any suggestions on a good/cheap manifold?
Thanks for the Info Firehawk, So basically I just need any laptop with a USB jack. Is there any computer speed requirements? example: If i use an extremely slow laptop will it not produce what I need efficiently? Thanks |

There are turbo manifolds available y'know.. i think they're sold on ebay and one of the irish lads imports them too. Dont see too much mitsu engines (not any to be exact) being used in the ae86 community, so I doubt many people would know.

Yeah, I understand there is manifolds online, but i am ALWAYS hesitant of online sale (call me old fashioned but I like to see the product before I buy it)
Who is the Irish guy, Do you think He would hook up a fellow Irish lad ehehhe jk(I live in Canada but I was born in Dublin) Also if i buy just any manifold then I have to get a flange to make it fit a 14b Turbo right? |

Hoey Wrote:Thanks for the Info Firehawk, So basically I just need any laptop with a USB jack. Is there any computer speed requirements? The packaging says that at least a P3/500MHz is recommended. I'd think that any laptop that is able to run Win2K or XP would pretty much do the job. |

Im not 100% sure but the turbo is a Mitsu TD05H 14b. you say TD05H 16g?
TD05H 14b, S16g, EVO III 16g, Big 16g, t-25 all are same flanges....thats the T3 flange right? Why you say its possible for custom? do they not make any pre-made headers with that flange? cant I jsut buy a header and then get a flange adapter? Jamie, The flanges in your picture do not look like the one on my turbo, the flange is close to square with a large round hole. Thanks Firehawk, so Pentium III with atleast 500MHz. ill look for a used one. |

Congrats Hoey, the price for the engine is very very good !
I asked about the flange because I had customer with TD05H 16g and these were laser cut flanges for his application. I have 4AGE flanges also. But your turbo seems different, I have no sample here to make similar flanges etc. PS: Did you check DSM headers fitment on 4AGE already ? |

No i didnt check the DSM manifold, because I found a set of headers already so i didnt need to keep searching. But when my exhaust is off and the new one is being installed ill check the fitting. my friend has 2 in his garage.
