I also had TRD cams in the engine, fortunately they were too big for this setup. I hope they didn't got grit...

I decided NOT TO paint my engines in the future. No one look worth this.
Maybe I'll paint the engine to my street car but only in fully assembled state.

You can see the http://www.hasznaltauto.hu there is a british flag somewhere in the page so you can search in english. Today I looked at this site, I found 3-4 hachies for sale.
I don't know where are the goldies from, but they are rare
One gold SR is for sale in good looking condition at the hasznaltauto.hu !

Yea' this kind of wheels can be found mostly on Fords.. I got it from a material recycling place it was on a old damaged Opel Vectra.
PCD changing was a good idea I think

I noticed that the oil presure gauge shows low oil pressure. I didn't want to kill the crankshaft so I pulled out the engine and aparted it.



The camshaft bearing wasn't looking good



Nor the oil pan




The cylinders had a little wear but the pistons were worn more, I think it was because of the cheap aftermarket air filter. Sorry I don't have picture of this piston

I brouht my spare engines home from my "store"
I tought I can use some of them.



The prev. owner told me that the 4AGE I got for the cars for spares had a knocking noise before he pulled it out. I wanted to see what can make a knocking noise



The pistons and the cylinder wall was good looking. Only measured 0.01-0,02mm of wear. But the bore was 81,5!


The crankshaft and the main bearings were OK. Conrod bearings had a little wore.
The biggest problems was: chock has offed out of its place. another damaged crankshaft



I have also parted the 4AC engine. After this I wasn't surprised that this engine didn't start.. it had about 0,3mm wore in the cylinders.

I took the zenki lip on the car.


AE92 short konis in the front AE86 Konis in the rear (slew on black tape to save it ) and Espelir Active GT spings also installed.

The man who bought the broken black AE92 promised me that he will make the loom for the AE92 engine into the AE86. He did it
