rim and tyre size?
robo, how is this going offtopic??! we are simply discussing different wheels sizes and their advantages and disadvantages.. perhaps somebody can find out something new.

and according to the formula that Dan pointed out up there you can easily calculate the diameter of your newly compounded wheels. stock is 185/60 14 and 195/60 14 (though i never seen this size in the EU). ET is around +20.

here's how my car performs with my current suspenion setup and on 14x7 (-9 offeset) konig rewinds spinning 185x60s

gymkhana idiot

you'll notice on the second time around the furthest set of cones you'll hear some understeer. the front struts were maybe set one click too stiff (and also probably because i stink) BUT all this is done on street tires. (for further setup info check my garaged car) and though maybe the fronts were too stiff for this small course (course size is going to matter) for high speed entries this would have been a good setup for my wheel and tire setup and with the small amount of hp the car puts out to the wheels. maybe this will help with more of a visual. it really depends on what you want the car to be BEST suited for.

I sorry, but i belive, from the experince i have, that i will be faster on a grip lap with the 8x16" wheels, then with the supra 7x14", or the 7x15"
That i have now,

The 4age will have around 280hp at the crank,

this is the wheels that i´m mounting.

Yep, they are nice,
And it looks like on the pic, that not much banging is needed.

Both going for Rota GRIDs? They are nice rims whichever way you put it, but i'd personally prefer the Volk TE37s, that is i would have before the market got flooded with them [Ueo style, anyone?]....

Me too on the Volks, but come on....they are like 3 times as expensive in 7x14" than the Grid´s in 8x16".
I´ve heard nothing but good about Rota´s, except they are knockoffs, and some people seem to have issues on that.
