Insides all original. The headlining is a bit off colour coz my ole mans a smoker. When I eventually get it full time (when he's had his fussy), I'm gonna have it professionally valeted. The parcel shelf isn't in there at present but its still in good condition with no holes or anything.

Dads just been to my house, so I've shown him this site (he's not computer literate). He's well chuffed and says thanks for all the comments Big Grin Thumbs up!

Stig,

Doesn't take to much trouble to get all the carpeting out and stuff, just put it in the dishwasherBig Grin

Also search on some posts by Djexor on this board, he bought his car from a smoker aswell and that car was FILTHY. I drove with him to spa last weekend, now you really can't tell the car was ever owned by a smoker, not a trace in his interiour.. Spotless!

Very nice one. Thumbs up!
I have the same problem with my roof, and so do a lot of other factory roofs. Wink
You can replace the roof with a fibreglass one, but I heard bad stories about that... (especially from robokill)

Mux: If you are talking about the front wings for sale by Trouble, I believe those wings are Trueno, so no use for Stig. Undecided

Just an update but a real sad one for me Sad Sad Sad

Dad passed away on 1st Feb 07 so now I've the corolla to get sorted Crying Crying Crying Promised him I'd NEVER sell it..it was His baby Smile

at present I've got to sell his Rav 4 to make way in the garage for the twincam. I've been to a local car restorer who's gunna have a look at the few small rust areas for a quote. SO its time to start work and source any needed parts. I intend to keep it totally original apart from a set of wheels (will keep the originals tho')
Just priced the insurance out of curiousity.....£150 fully comp protected on classic policy with 7K guarenteed value ... so not too bad

I'll keep youz all in the picture as to progress and of course it'll all be catalogued and pics taken as it progresses Thumbs up!

later........
