If i use Nitromors or similar to remove the paint on a bumper and return it to that black ripply effect that they are standard.
1) would it work?
2) would it damage/melt the plastic?

Same goes if i do the same to the whitelines

Dunno whether to risk it or not

Anyone ever tried?

hey, i asked the same question here:

http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/how-to-re...nt+bumpers

Didnt try it yet tho, but apparently brake fluid does the trick. i still wonder if you could simply just sandblast the bumpers and use a black "ripply" paint with some elasic additive to make it fresh..
