im just guessing here, but when they say, save 32kg each door, they are comparing a fully laided, glass inside door, to a bare fibreglass door....

im not strong by any means, but the doors (even ones with side intrusion bars (ADM) ) arent that much.

Seibon in California sells the doors, the hood, and a hatchback lid. They also show Levin hoods...

6pts cr-mo roll cage + 2x sparco seats, ca.15L of fuel.

Back when I had my hatch. Sunroof, power steering, no ac, probably about 3/4 tank of gas. Full interior. About as stock as you get minus some lowering springs and supra rims.

2360lbs = 1070 Kg

I use Konecranes CXT crane (like this: http://www.cxtcrane.com/ap-pics/kuvat/cxtatrr.jpg ) with industial scale.

Then we change a glassfibre hood, glassfibre front fenders and add 35kg lead, 19l fuel and 2kg interior heater = (full race condition) 942 kg

On my export sheet it had the car down as being 910 Kg and that would have been with no fuel i pressume as can't ship cars with lots of fuel on board,also mine has sunroof/elec windows/aircon/power steering etct etc. Going to get it weighed next week on weigh bridge and see.

Truck scales FTW!!! It's my cheap (free) fast weighing machine. Just make sure you put the whole car on just one of the pads!

Can't you attach a pic about you 900kg car? What kind of factory options does it have (sunroof, power windows/steering, etc.)?
My goal is to make the car weigh 900kg so please share the receipt with me..
