How Gabe from T3 Screwed over his own Sponsered Driver
This is a one sided account from Al who was the T3 sponserd driver of the orange trueno coupe in formula D..
Quote:First of all, before you read this, I am simply telling my side of story and everyone is inquiring… I’ve written about this for months now but I never really publish it but when I was at D1GP last December I got asked by atleast 50+ people of what’s going on with my car and Techno Toy Tuning and don’t even start with the emails. I had to keep revising my story just a bit that I don’t sound like an angry midget beause originally, I had tons of “FUCK SHIT FUCK” all over my post. So fuck it , here’s the story. |

Would indeed be interesting to hear Gabe's side of the story, however since this is just a copy of a post from else where, it is more logical to assume Gabe would reply where this was posted.
Matt, where did you get this from? Any link to the source? Would be very interested to read the reactions. Jasper, his stuff may be good, but its worthless if not properly installed and adjusted. You install all the goodies on your car yourself and adjust the car to what feels right for you. From what I read here Al needed to trust someone else to properly set up his car but never got what he wanted. Still its one side of a story so its hard to tell what actually happened here. I understand Al and know him from ZT.
First I was bit envious after I saw all the pics of his orange TC build up but not I get it. It's basicly all to this -> do it yourself. Sponsors are good, but not perfect. I know what I'm talkin about. Drifting is not F1 nor WRC so let's not be fooled. I had very bad experience with shipping parts from T3, but I can not say from experience that Konig wheels are bad, or camber plates. Stuff is good, just guy that works with stuff is not on that level. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Dunno...wasn't Al that guy that you saw flipping fingers a lot, but not actually driving a car 100m without crashing it? Now the crashes are supposed to be the fault of T3, just like everything else that went wrong..supposedly because Gabe is on drugs and makes show parts only?
Sorry..I don't buy one single bit of this story. Just a very pathetic attempt to put a former sponsor in a bad light...which was to be expected from an already unprofessional driver. PS: The F20C hatch sure seemed to have a suspension setup that worked during American Touge...theres all that showcar engineering at work...moron A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

It is indeed a bit one-sided and I would love having Gabe telling his side of the story.
Found the source of the article: http://allagura.com/fook/?page_id=441 And here you can find the car buildup: http://www.phuckdrifting.com/project.htm Amazing buildup. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

yeah thats where i got it from... i belive what this dude is on about.... some of the t3 part are very iffy in my eyes and something on that build up i was like wtf...
i just think its very sad that Gabe fucked of the two ppl who built that car... it would be good to see his side of the story... but i myself will never buy t3 after using certain products and reading that... |

Yep only one side of the story.. though in this story there are a couple of things that dont quite add up.. i mean if he was os good with theese Tim and Bri characters, and they were setting up his car, why wouldnt they set it up the way he likes? What does the "provider" of parts got to do with it? However this drama went on/through, this is a good example of how not to live a "hachilife".. and a sad ending for the car..

What parts would that be? Most of the stuff I've seen was pretty solid and I haven't read of any failures to date. They were also one of few companies that actually bothered to make parts for these old cars..even before the whole hype happened.
How exactly did Gabe fuck the two people that built the car? A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
