I rather see the 131 in action:

After seeing old Fiat rally vids 6 or 7 years ago I honestly doubted if I would buy a 131 instead of a hachi. However the 131 is a much bigger rust lover than the hachi and finding a moderate state car is even harder than finding a trueno in Holland. Big Grin Big Grin

The Alfa 33 guy is brave but his right arm must be like Schwarzneger's from pulling that e-brake.

As for the 131 Abarth..... Respect!

As for the fiats,i think you can see the simmilarities between 70's and 80's RWD fiats and 80's Toyotas. The japanese manufacturures copied euro cars in 70's,and i think you can see that on Fiat/Bertone X1/9 - Toyota MR2 AW11 resemblence and also on the Fiat 80's twincam engines and toyota twin cam engine. My brother had a Lancia Prisma twincam,8V,excellent, hard to kill engine. It traveled of 300k km and it's still driving.

So...???

My 86 too... Thumbs up!

Definetly, fiat days are gone.

I´ve read somewhere, that the very 1st twincam engine available for comercial models was from fiat group. Alfa romeo 1.3 with 120 or 130 hp, not sure of this value or if it was 8 or 16v.[/quote]

I would be happy to see those days again, finally cars that you can enjoy in cities too.

Those early Alfa twincams were little wonders...hp/litre would still kick ass today...close to 100hp/l in a 60's production engine
Hurray!

A pedal to steer the rear
