What ride height for ae86 lower springs at the front???
Hi peeps.
I have a KE70 Estate. I found a company here in the UK that will take ths STD ride height front springs and heat and change the spring rate and ride heigh of them for a small fee. Now, to me, this is a better way to lower it than chopping the springs but the problem is.... How much should I get the springs reduced to?? 40mm ?? 60mm ?? 80mm ?? I want the car quite low to be honest but I dont want it lower than it need to be. What do you people run?? Cheers Adam 1980 Toyota Corolla KE70 DX 1983 Levin GTV |

Measure how much travel is in the front suspension now; from where
it sits until it touches the bumpstops. You need about 70 mm to keep a reasonable amount of suspension travel with standard rate springs. If you have more than 70 mm, the difference is how much you can lower the front. Cheers... jondee86 The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man. |
