4a-ge timing is 10 degrees BTDC, how to check ?
How can I check my timing on my 4 age. I read that stock timing is 10 degrees BTDC.

you'd need a stroboscopic light to attach to youre nr1 sparkplug lead and bridge the check-engine connector. Have a look through the factory manual..it's got all the info you need.

basically you hook up your timing gun, aim it at the markings near the crank pully (i.e. 20 15 10 5 0 5) and check to see if the marking on the belt lines up to 10 degrees BTDC.
