Some more updates for the Group A car.
Started to reassemble everything, slowly. It now has pedals, master cylinders, lights and heater in. I recommend for those that are racing/drifting their 86, to add a removable smash panel. Makes it soo easy to get in and around the engine bay. Oh and I get my car back this week!! |

Yeah this thing is pretty special. Everything has been worked soo much, unfortunately now with turbos and lexan its a little slow, but still special. To me anyway haha.
Still I can't wait to have mine back, cause it's mine. Cheers |

Hiya... I notice the red car doesn't run a booster. Can you post up a bit
of info on the setup... what master cylinder (if known) and what slave (stock AE86 or swapped out for another) ? Cheers... jondee86 The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man. |

Question Time.
Getting my exhaust made tomorrow for the blue car. What size pipe should I use for the specs of my engine. The guy at the shop reckoned a 2". But I was thinking something a little larger. Any ideas? Jondee- will check out what the system is next time I'm out there, but it is running two aftermarket units. Can't remember the brand, english brand anyways |

I would go for at least 2 1/4" (60mm) Thats the size I am using on my AE85, 4AGZE.

Thats what I was thinking. Will go for a 2 1/4" system.
As for the Jamex seats I bought but are too thick in the base, resale. Am looking at a pair of S15 seats I can get cheap. Anyone have a set or sat in some? They look pretty good to me. Cheers |

Finally fire my 86 up last night.
Took awhile to get it started, the compression killed the battery we had for it, bigger battery if not starter may be needed here. But got it started, but for some reason cylinders 1 & 2 wouldn't fire. Plenty of spark, thinking it may be a fuel issue, plenty of gas in the carb, but maybe not enough going into cylinder. Seems queer that 3 & 4 would fire and not the other two. Any ideas? Robokill- will measure the headers tomorrow, sorry missed that. |
