@nmwisima,
I had the opportunity to look Kristians car over last month, the hood rise is made by self fabricated spacers, you can also use some longer bolts with a sleeve to raise the bonnet..If youre lazy, some guy on ebay is selling simple kits to raise the bonnet a bit, but he charges too much.
The hood is a OEM metal hood with welded drop vent, no fibreglass.

BTW, I too expected Kristians suspension to be somewhat soft for drifting, but I had a feel and it is really solid (at least in front it is).

Man, I found the page and the pictures about the air vent, but the others that -may- contain pictures of the hood mounts do not wok... Crying
If someone has pictures of this custom spacers and PLEASE some information: Are trere any tricky spots doing this mod? What about water coming in the engine bay? What about securing that there's going to be an ...accidental hood opening in high speeds?
I NEED your Advice gentlemen...

No tricky spots.
Just use longer bolts for the hood and use some spacers.
Don't lift your hood too much because there are security pins that prevent hood going in the cabin.
Just lift your hood and take a look, you don't need no advice on this mod.
I removed the rubber in front of the glass to increase the cooling. I have some water leakage in the cabin but this is not related to this mod.

A dropvent is the best. Raising the hood in the rear doesn't always give the best cooling for the radiator, because it's in a high pressure zone.

Nice one if you get if from sponsors.
Since i don't have one i managed to get this.
Increased capacity preasure plate. Looks exactly the same as TRD, but cost 100€ in croatia.

I'm very satisfied, since i do a lot of drifting, and not ever my clutch slipped.

This one is stock.

Jura on other hand orderd TRD AE92 preasure plate wich is 212mm (200mm is ae86mm), custom lightnend flywheel from ae92 and custom made 212mm carbon clutch.

Now I need to go steal the shocks of my mate that just bought a 325SmileSmile j/k

Hey.. you have missunderstood me a little. Smile

only the rear SPRINGS of an 325 E30 will fit the AE86... not the
shocks.

Also.. A small tip --- is that the rear shocks of an NIssan Cherry Turbo will fit to 99%.. all you have to do is change the rubber bushing on the lower mount

K

The front shocks from Fiat Argenta will fit as rear on the AE86 - and they are 30 mm shorter. I have a pair of these - "Monroe Gas-matic". You must remove the steel sleeve inside the rubber bushing only.
To match the shorter shocks I use rear springs for Nissan Primera - "HR" performance brand, they are 30 mm shorter too.
