I tried to start a drift cult in Germany and it is getting harder to fined places to go. The track is not close. Do the Europeans not believe in open parking lots and industrial parks with plenty of room? I just got away with a ticket going 120kph in a 50kph zone. They are very anti here!
Oh and the Japanese have been doing this for decades. You have by far the ugliest hachi on the nicest rims in the world -Mux213 |

The government is against it. You need permission to use the parkinglots and that's the impossible thing.

I think everyone knows the japanese have been drifting for decades Mulisha.
The lack of wide open parking lots is a problem we have in holland as well. And if you get caught practicing you can get a pretty serious fine, the rubber left on the asfalt is what troubles them the most. I cant find a single suitable parkinglot nearby, the only one we do have over here is usually filled with parked trucks since it's a truck rest stop. The best parking lot I have found is the one of the local football stadium, which is in the middle of the city by a busy road where cops often drive by...such a shame... FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

In France also, Government is against everything that does not make a lot of profits for FFSA (French Sport Car Federation).
And the federation only support and help race that make lot of interest and money, they don't care about drift or even drag racing Try to search about drag racing in France, this is nowhere! only things that counts are Rallying, F1, MotoGP, 24h du mans and that's all folks! Thanks france! Go for Belgium, there, government and federation are happy for new challenges! Too much maybe, as there is no fixed securiy rules for drift or drag racing, in Belgium you can do official drag racing events without wearing an helmet during races :o Mike |
