Eric's KE70 08/10 Longchamps!
Hi everyone, I am Eric from the Netherlands and today i bought me a TE71..
After driving Nissan 200SX for a few years, i got in contact with Jasper, TE71Corolla on this board, and found out about the AE86 Nice car, sort of oldschool JDM stuff. And then Jasper showed me his TE71 Corolla!! From that moment on i knew i had to get me one of these cars, but i couldn't find one.. Last week i found one and bought it immediately.. Its white, original Dutch car, with loads and loads of work to it, but hey i've got one Today i went to pick it up with jasper, and here are some pictures of it! It is now in my garage, i had a quick look at it and it's got loads and loads of work to be done.. But, the winter isn't over yet.. So, from now on i will be asking a lot of questions about suspension, 4age, parts etc...... be prepared.. |

Well the TE is still in the garage, making plans for it now.
First i have to get me a roll cage, then i have to strip the car to the bare chassis so it can be seam welded, fix some rust holes and then it can be treated againts rust. After that epoxy coating and 500 layers of the best white bright paint money can buy I bought me a brand new front windscreen last week, because the old one had a crack in it. Now looking for a new dashboard because the previous owner chewed holes in it and i want my car to look complete and new when i drive it. have been drewling over techno toy tuning's website the last weeks, man i so got to have everything they sell But first things first, the body must be rust proof untill the end of times. |

500 layers of paint? That's not really reducing weight!
Jasper also stripped his TE completely bare and welded his cage in. Is that an option for you as well? 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Mine will be treated like Jaspers.
and the 500 layers of paint is with a  offcourse. Just want to make sure all rust is gone and it will not return as long as i am living. I'm not going to spend a shitload of money on a car and let it rust away.. |
