Nope.. Usually you need at least a bottomend from the same engine "family", in this case A series engines.

Why you want Aluminium block ?
4AGE block is pretty small and light... for it's HP and displacement. Toyota scrap yard car park = AE92GTi - AE82GT - KE30 - KP62 |

I'd love to get an AE86, but I live in the Boston area and there aren't too many around at a price I can do
I'm looking for the lightest thing I can bolt to a T50 transmission because I'm making a high MPG RX7... any suggestions? To tell the truth I'm looking for a good deal on anything 4A within 250 miles. Thanks, Vin p.s. what do you think of an 4A-FE? |

I think you're just bored and complicating your life If you need a MPG car, just buy somethin cheap and small and preferably japanese. Something that does 50 mpg anyway. If you want to keep expenses as low as possible, youre probably not gonna race the car; if you wont race it you don't need great handling or power.. and that T50 box isnt all that great anyway. If it has to be FC than just get a miata engine which has a great tranny-

Bored... you may be right...
I just got rid of my TDi I had put in a European computer in it, had the computer reprogrammed, put in a smaller turbo, bumped the compression, and had a pipe from the turbo back. I was getting 65 mpg on the highway, at 70 mph. I also drove the thing into the ground. So now I want to do a gas high MPG. I've been doing high MPG cars since gas was $.85, so I don't think I'm going to stop now I just bought a donor car last night. A Geo Prizm GSi with a nice 4AGE. |
