That paint job looks terrible.. but I guess it doesnt make sense do do a fancy job when you race it in the events you participate in. Nice to see the car resurrected yet again.. ..please keep it together next time around. To finish first, you must first finish!

Headlights and grille damaged on the flip. I do have one set still, but I use them only for a good reason.

Testing went well, everything works as it should. Road was pretty awful, but enought good to test.

So, Finnish Championship in Ice Racing 2008 is finaliesed.


In this winter we had only two races, because weather vitiates another two.

First race 23.2.2008 : I placed 12. , a little damage to right side of the car.
Second race 2.3.2008 cancelled, because the weather.
Third race 8.3.2008 : I placed again 12. , a little damage to left rear arch.
Fourth race 15.3. cancelled, tehre was 15cm water on the ice...

On the final result in Finnish Championship I am place 16.

Christmas went and New Year is coming soon...yesterday I got my one of my own Christmas present to me... a clear cam cover




and I also started to make a new rear end, because I noticed last summer on Botniaring-racetrack that my current gear ratio is too long...so now there is coming a Volvo 1031 rear end with 5.85:1 gear ratio.
