yeah thats what i was thinking, i dont want it to be screaming its head off, and if anything goes wrong im sure parts in germany are hard to get id have to be shipping parts over myself. looks like its going to have to be a BMW but id love to take a well sorted 86 around, maybe i could have a lap with you next time Jan??

if you up the power a bit you could fit a longer final drive to lower the rpms a bit... so far no one had a problem on the ring with the hachi screaming but it's true most of the time you'll be with the pedal to the metal - as it should be anyway

If we ever meet there I'll give you a ride for sure It wouldn't hurt having a bit more power going up the hill. For me better tires and more practice behind the wheel would help more, though.
