cvrle Wrote:Where are you at Tokol on King of Europe? I hope to meet you and see car in real time, but you are not been there... Hi, I was there to help my friend Denes Miklos (AE86 20V 178hp). He won the Hungarian PRO drifting series 1st round on sunday with his hachiroku . Unfortunatelly he had transimission problems on saturdays KoE round This is my first year in drifting and I will race in the 2nd class Official drifting league in Hungary called Amateur series. In the hungarian KoE rounds you can only race if you have the PRO license. Regards, Z http://ae86.blog.hu - closed 2006 Toyota Corolla Verso 2.2 D4-D 1992 JDM Nissan Silvia PS13 RB26DETT powered |

AE86_Z Wrote:My engine setup currently (was built 6 month ago): Szia! I have to say I'm impressed that you got 132 whp out of this setup, but this was with the HKS 272 8,1 cams installed? But with the big port head, and bigport intake manifold w/TVIS? Normal size throttle-body? After seeing your drift-videos I think I might follow in your footsteps engine-wise (that is, not getting a redtop/smallport engine). A shame we dont't have drift-tracks up here were I live Actually I lived 6 years in Pécs, but have forgotten almost all my hungarian! Unfortunately I have the low compression (9,4:1), AFM version 4AGE, but with the 7 rib block without the oil-squirters. I guess I have the lighter version / 1st gen crank + conn.rods, so I think I'll keep those parts, but will need new pistons to increase compression ratio, helped maybe by shaving the block, and a thinner headgasket. When you switch to ITB's (+ aftermarket EMS) will you switch to a smallport head as well, or keep the big port head? And your exhaust guy..... could he make another batch of those headers? He could probably make some serious cash making those, if they connect easily with other cat-back systems 1987 Levin 3d - daily drifter (to be) 1990 SW20 MR2 w/ gen3 3S-GTE - daily poser |
