Anyone own a Honda Motocompo?
I was one day looking the car of the past and see the trends they were marketed for. I had a thing for Kei-cars since they were pretty cool in my head. Seeing that many cars have increase in weight, as well as size, led me to this little awesome concept of a market idea.
It was the Honda City that got me interested. The First Generation Honda City were pretty funny and kinda cool for what they were marketed for. I mean the commerical for them were kinda odd like any japanese comerical in the 80's. But I was really hooked on the little " TRUNK BIKE" that came with the car. I really like the idea and the design of it. I wanted one lol. It was pretty ahead of its time of design. It was the only car that had a motobike with a car. Thats pretty sick when you think about it. Has anyone ever owned them since they were not offer in the USA of ether? I know in Europe name of the Honda City was called the Honda JAZZ. Also is there any place to get parts for these Honda Motocompo? It would be some cool thing to have. hehehehe I have been looking. todays little motor foldable ones like really gay. I know there are those little mini supersports bikes, but they are not practical looking. More Info what Im taking about! I always thought the Honda City was a bit smaller than the Honda Jazz... And AFAIK the European Jazz did not feature the motorbike.
Funny thing is that I once looked into that because I liked the You're Under Arrest manga and looked into their Honda City police car. I remember indeed the Motocompo featuring in some of the mangas. Found some info about it here: http://www.bikervoodoo.com/2008/01/08/honda-motocompo/ 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

That was the first time I saw the little Motocompo in the first Ep of
You're Under Arrest. It was really a different look than todays moto mikes. I really like the look and its basic performance. Plus it looks sporty and practical than the Toy moto bikes. These is what I like about the past cars since they had more free ideas on these kind of stuff. It would be awesome to have a place in an AE86 to put them in. I just love Hatchbacks since it proof how practical they are. lol East Coast Toyota http://ectoyotas.com/forum/index.ph Club4AG http://www.club4ag.com/ |

A place to put them in?? I think there is plenty of room when you remove the rear seats.
