Which ones do you use? Which would you suggest for a daily drive car? (no more than 160ps with reasonable cost this means... Tongue )

AE101 or 111 conrods, shot peened & balanced. They'll work fine for 200 bhp. You don't need forged rods, etc. for this kind of application. It's overkill. Eagle rods can be inexpensive, but if you look you'll probably be able to find good used rods cheap enough.

standard 40mm 18mm pin. Work fine on current 133 whp (estamted 150 crank) I think the standard rods will be ok upto 180 hp. And not to much RPM (8500 max)

Eagle does NOT make rods for the 4AG... Carrillo does(over 800 Euros) Stock early rods can absorb 160-180PS.

(the following are approximate values)
Mid series 4AG rods (87-89) are the stoutest of all and can easily absorb 300-400+PS. Later series rods(90-95) are not quite as stout as the 87-89 rods, but they are very strong too... say about 300-325 PS Finally blktop rods are lighter then 90-95 rods and can absorb about 200-250PS.

The stronger the block, the more power the crank/rods can absorb. The block rigidity goes along way in keeping the crank and rods from over stressing which can cause micro fractures
