3k Manifold question...
Due to the fact that something took a bite out of my inlet manifold Evil , i am wondering if my 4k one can be replaced by the 3k one.

With regards,
Rob.

3k Manifold question...
jep, they are the same

You can also buy my stock twin carb setup or my twin weber 40mm manifold.
Or a stock 3K-H manifold with carb Smile

3k Manifold question...
I have a 3k one next week to fit.
And it is just for the *apk*
I'm not going to do anything to this engine to improve it.
All i will do is swap the auto tranny for a manual (If the 3k one also fit's the 4k)
And then drive and get me some money for the 4age.

jep, all k-series engines have the same bolt pattern for the gearbox.

only thing you have to look at, is that you find an old style gearbox (KP30, KP60 or KE10/KE20), because the later k boxes from the KE70 have a longer tailpiece so the gear stick is sitting a bit more to the rear.

3k Manifold question...
hehe Big Grin

I drove my KE20 for a few years with a stock 3K and a 4 speed box, it was a nice engine, and the gearbox shifted very nice, one of the best feeling boxes i had in my life Smile Smooth shifting and good synchros (i could easily go back to 1st whilest driving 20km/u+, most other gearboxes i've had in different cars can't even do that with 4km/u

Only remember to check the oil level regularly, i killed 2 boxes due to oil leaking out *somewhere* without me knowing it, and they don't like 140km/u runs on the highway without oil Big Grin

Thanks for the tips !!

I really hope that the clutch pedal from the KE35 will fit also without major custom work.

3k Manifold question...
i wouldn't worry about the clutch pedal, that can be made fit, it's a cable clutch, i'd worry more about the propshaft
